The Original V2 is a cumulative performance upgrade to the fan favourite Original Insert.
Cut out trail chatter, support your sidewalls, run less pressure, and protect your rims with the Rimpact Original V2 Tyre Insert. This insert is our lightweight trail, all mountain and light enduro insert. Great for shorter travel bikes, smoother riders or weight conscious pinners. Your mountain biking experience shouldn't be limited by punctures. That's why we've created the Rimpact Original V2 tyre insert – the weight conscious solution for protection and performance on the trail.
This insert is a cinch to install, and the weight is almost totally unnoticeable in the tyre making it a no brainer when it comes to ensuring your rides aren’t cut short by unwanted flat tyres.
Use about 25% more sealant than recommended on the bottle to ensure the extra surface area of the insert is coated with plenty of fluid to spare. Our inserts are closed cell and cannot absorb liquid however some sealant will cling to the outside of the insert requiring a slightly higher dosage. It can be injected through Rimpact Valves or poured directly into the tyre.

All products are dispatched during normal business hours (Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm). Please note that our daily order cutoff time is 3 PM NZ time.
