Strong hearty grip, like a firm handshake from the ol' mate down the local.
Rough and tough enough but equally soft and well shaped. But of a mess to get onto the bars, but that's all push on style grips. Took a bit of getting used to, as they bulge slightly to the outside, but after a ride they felt comfortable. 4.5 purely because of the install faff.
