I bought the unlined RJs cover last year (10 months ago) and it had broken down and ripped already. I found it wasn't particularly waterproof either. Bought this as a replacement and its nice and heavy, less likely to blow off if not secured, and it has kept my bike dry so far through winter storms. Colour is a dark grey, not light as pictured. Im pretty confident this will last a lot longer.
