A very good looking board. 6 foot is a little small for a beginner, even for a child. The board is less buoyant and less stable than the usual 7 foot beginners boards, but more manoeuvrable and easier to handle and store. Hopefully my child will persevere and this will last as an intermediate board. The surface is soft but not slippery like some cheaper soft boards.
