I took a punt on these having had five ten impact vxi in the past. These are a very different fit, slightly larger and more pointed in the toe (size 10). They seemed incredibly stiff in the shank, little padding and uncomfortable to begin with, but have soon broken in and I now love them. The boa system is great to adjust tension while on the bike and to get in and out of the shoe quickly. The only reservation I have is that the cleats are positioned too far forward for my liking (at their rearmost setting) which is not how I generally set up my shoes. Overall though I would buy the same again in a heartbeat. Would probably not suit people with square or wide feet.
