They fit my aero bars nicely and the sons not-so-aero bars easy enough. Like the lock, not sure what the point is when there is no real lock on the clamps that attach the bar to the roof rack. I sort of figure the security hex key is pretty common now. But nothing and aftermarket bike lock cable doesn't fix if I really want to make sure it is going nowhere.
The product description is a little optimistic on how many skis and Boards it'll fit, but I knew that when I brought it so no sweat. I reckon 5 pair of skis or 4 boards but they'll be doubled up to take up less width (just pack something between them).
