EXAR Pro series rims are made of HI-MOD carbon fiber. While keeping the rim, spoke and hub stiff, we optimized materials and structure to reduce overall weight. The light design effectively reduces driving weight and improves sprinting performance.
Automatic carbon fiber winding technology is applied, and the carbon fiber is pre-stressed and is more straight and evenly forced. Thus, the stiffness and consistency of the wheelset are ensured.
Integral Design - No Sub-Assemblies
Instead of being a combination of components and sub-assemblies, EXAR carbon fiber wheelsets are quality and high-performing products featuring and integral design of appearance, weight, and performance.
Flat Engagement Ratchet Ensures Stable Performance
Adopts 36-tooth flat ratchet, which has tighter engagement with larger surface. This can make the ratchet more durable, with fast and precise engagement as well as stability. The rotating sound is more even with flat wire spring.
Wider for Better Aerodynamics
Pro series wheelsets have an external width of 27mm and an internal width of 20mm. The 27mm wide rim provides a flatter aerodynamic surface with 25c and 28c outer tires and thus reducing air resistance.
Braking Rim Line Design
The unique grooved line of the rim brake wheelsets quickly drains water and improves braking performance. The braking rim is made of temperature-resistant resin made to withstand up to 240 degrees C.
UCI Approved
EXAR Pro series wheelsets have passed UCI impact tests. After applying an energy of 40 J on the bare carbon rim, the deviation complies with UCI standard.
Unique Design of Rim
To improve the wheelset stability, stiffness and crosswind resistance of different frame heights, targeted wheel rim designs were made. For disc brake wheels, the symmetric structure is adopted and the flange width is optimized so that the spoke tension on both sides are close to the same. The cross-sections of Pro series wheelsets are redesigned for greater stability and rigidity.
Elaborate Hub Structure
The rear-wheel hub WR size is increased to ensure the spoke tension on the driving side is consistent with that on the non-driving side, hence to deliver outstanding lateral stiffness. Adopting FEA technology and conducting several tests to identify the maximum force on the hub, to get a light and sturdy hub.
To obtain a better balance lateral stiffness, driving stiffness and braking effect, the front and rear spokes of the disc brake variants have applied a 2:1 balanced lacing pattern, and the hub geometry has been adjusted accordingly.
The rear-wheel drive side flange diameter is increased and the spoke direction is aligned with the torque direction and the wheelset driving efficiency is improved.
Balanced Design of Spoke Tension
For the rear wheel of the rim brake variant, and both front and rear wheels of the the disc brake variant, the 2:1 balanced lacing pattern is applied to reasonably distribute spoke tension and enhance the pedaling force.
With a standard design of highly stiff spokes, the spoke tension of all models of rear-wheel drive side is 120kgf ±10%, with vigorous and powerful treading.

More Powerful Design
The Pro series feature Pillar Wing21 flat spokes for excellent performance of aerodynamics and driving stiffness. The self-locking spoke nipple for both internal and external use is applied, where the nipple is tighter and the spokes are not easy to loose.

Some products require extra processing time. For example, "Logistics Warehouse – Allow approx. 2 working days before dispatch" or "Aus Stock – Dispatch in approx. 7–10 working days". Where a specific timeframe is displayed against an item, that timeframe applies.

Signature Required
Orders are sent signature required by default. If you provide permission to leave in your shipping notes, the courier may leave the parcel without a signature where their service allows.
PO Box Delivery

Tracking
For orders shipped from our Auckland warehouse, NZ Post tracking is automatically emailed once the courier collects and scans your parcel. Supplier-direct tracking is not always supplied automatically, so please contact us if your expected dispatch timeframe has passed and you have not received tracking.

Hyper Ride Warehouse Tracking
Hyper Ride warehouse orders are shipped using NZ Post. Tracking is automatically forwarded to you once NZ Post collects and scans the parcel. Tracking may not show movement until the first courier scan has taken place.
Supplier Tracking
Supplier-direct orders use the supplier's nominated courier. Tracking details are not always automatically forwarded to us or to the customer. If the dispatch timeframe shown against your product has passed, email us and we can request the tracking for you.
Orders From Multiple Locations
If your order contains products from the Hyper Ride warehouse and one or more supplier warehouses, the items may be dispatched separately and arrive on different days.
Different Couriers
Split orders may use different courier companies and have separate tracking numbers. Please check the dispatch information shown against each item in your order confirmation.

Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Tracking, Customs & Returns

You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
