We have applied all the principles of engineered minimalism that are the hallmarks of Restrap’s luggage range to our Switch Rack: lightweight construction, durable materials, quick and simple fitment/removal.
The heart of Restrap’s Switch system; the Switch Rack is compatible with the Restrap Switch Panniers and all other Switch Multimount products as well as any product or accessory that uses 64mm-spaced mounting points, like bottle cages etc.
All mounting hardware included, this includes the axle of which there are 3 x three thread pitch options: 1.0, 1.5 and 1.75mm

Which axle do you need?
- All Switch Racks come with an axle supplied. This is designed to replace the one current axle. It is compatible with 142mm and 148mm (boost) spacing and comes supplied with spacers to tune fit.
- It is imperative to use the correct thread pitch for your frame
- To determine the correct thread pitch, remove your current axle. Many have the thread pitch printed on the axle. It will be either 1mm, 1.5mm or 1.75mm
- If it is not printed on the axle, you will need a ruler. Count out ten threads from the end of the axle and measure the distance. If it is 1cm, you have a 1mm thread pitch. 1.5cm = 1.5mm thread pitch, 1.75cm = 1.75mm.
- If you are still unsure, check with your frame manufacturer directly.
Fitting the Switch axle:
- Remove your bike’s current thru-axle
- Remove M5 bolts from both ends of Restrap Switch thru-axle
- Fit the Restrap Switch thru-axle using a 6mm allen key. Use as many 3mm washers as necessary to centralise the top bar over the rear wheel
- Use the supplied axle cone spacer for compatible frames
Fitting the Switch Rack:
- Slot rack legs over either end of the axle
- Screw in M5 bolts to secure
- Ensure the rubberised fabric strap is tightly wrapped around the seatpost or seat tube
- Use velcro strap to tightly secure the seatpost/tube mount
- Tighten all bolts
Tailoring fit:
- Quick flip system allows you to flip the top bar to maximise wheel clearance and provide a range of seat post or frame mounting points.
- Simply rotate the top bar and ensure it is centralised.
- Remove the velcro strap from the seatpost/tube clamp and rethread to ensure the Restrap logo tab is on the drive side (because aesthetics are important)
Compatibility:
- Only compatible with bikes with a 12mm diameter thru-axle
- Compatible with bikes with 142mm or 148mm (Boost) spacing
- Not designed for use with full-suspension frames
- IMPORTANT – ensure axle thread pitch matches your bike. Do not attempt to fit without the correct thread pitch.
- UDH – bikes with a UDH derailleur will require a Restrap Switch UDH adaptor (available separately)
- SRAM Transmission/T-Type direct mount derailleurs will require a Restrap Switch Full Mount adaptor (available separately)

Supplier / Logistics Warehouse
Products showing "Ships Direct from Supplier", "Ships from logistics warehouse" or similar wording are dispatched directly from one of our suppliers. These items are normally dispatched within 1 working day unless a different processing timeframe is displayed.
Specific Dispatch Timeframes
Some products require extra processing time. For example, "Logistics Warehouse – Allow approx. 2 working days before dispatch" or "Aus Stock – Dispatch in approx. 7–10 working days". Where a specific timeframe is displayed against an item, that timeframe applies.
Dispatch Time vs Delivery Time
Dispatch time is the time required for your item to leave the Hyper Ride warehouse or supplier warehouse. Courier delivery time begins after the item has been dispatched.
The dispatch timeframe shown against the individual product on the product page, at checkout, or in your order confirmation takes priority over the general timeframes on this page.
If your order contains products from more than one dispatch location, your items may be sent separately and arrive at different times. Each parcel may also have a different courier and tracking number.

Signature Required
Orders are sent signature required by default. If you provide permission to leave in your shipping notes, the courier may leave the parcel without a signature where their service allows.

Shipping Days

Tracking
For orders shipped from our Auckland warehouse, NZ Post tracking is automatically emailed once the courier collects and scans your parcel. Supplier-direct tracking is not always supplied automatically, so please contact us if your expected dispatch timeframe has passed and you have not received tracking.

Hyper Ride Warehouse Tracking
Hyper Ride warehouse orders are shipped using NZ Post. Tracking is automatically forwarded to you once NZ Post collects and scans the parcel. Tracking may not show movement until the first courier scan has taken place.
Supplier Tracking
Supplier-direct orders use the supplier's nominated courier. Tracking details are not always automatically forwarded to us or to the customer. If the dispatch timeframe shown against your product has passed, email us and we can request the tracking for you.
Orders From Multiple Locations
If your order contains products from the Hyper Ride warehouse and one or more supplier warehouses, the items may be dispatched separately and arrive on different days.
Different Couriers
Split orders may use different courier companies and have separate tracking numbers. Please check the dispatch information shown against each item in your order confirmation.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Tracking, Customs & Returns
Tracking Your Order
You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
