Features
- Powerful Flex—Vertically laminated bamboo and fiberglass construction pair with a cambered profile and a variable concave for a lively and engaging ride. The cork bottom helps dampen out vibrations without compromising the liveliness.
- User Friendly—Drop-through truck mounting positions the deck lower to the ground for easier, more efficient pushing and enhanced stability. Light weight and compact size make the Icarus intuitive and commuter friendly.
- Shapely Curves—The right curves in the right places enhance rider ergonomics while contributing to a responsive and high-performance ride. Wheel well flares accommodate big wheels and improve turning leverage and control. Variable concave yields a consistent flex pattern while providing a variety of riding experiences based on foot placement.
- Practical Kicks—Minimal nose and tail kicks help navigate city streets and open the door for freestyle trickery.
- SHAPE - The shape of the Icarus echoes the elegantly utilitarian outline popularized by the Dervish and Tan Tien. Its mid-sized length and wheelbase strike a balance between stability and maneuverability, accommodating a (slightly-wider-than-) shoulder-width stance for most riders. Straight rails along the standing platform ensure torsional stability, while full-figured cutouts at the tips allow for deep turns without wheelbite.
- CAMBER - The cambered profile pairs with the bamboo core and epoxy/fiberglass skins (as well as the concaves and wheel flares) to create an active suspension with ungodly energy return. Pump away!
- VARIABLE CONCAVE - Because the flares stiffen the necks we needed to create a variable concave to balance out the flex pattern. Tighter concave in the center of the board prevents the deck from folding at the center, while more subtle concave underfoot near the flares locks you in and feels yummy. This was inspired by the flex patterning explored for our snowboard, the Algernon.
- NOSE & TAIL KICKS - Minimal nose and tail kicks allow for enhanced maneuverability in tight quarters while also opening the door to exploring freestyle trickery. The kicks are reinforced with an additional layer of fiberglass for added stiffness and durability.
WHEEL WELL FLARES - Flared wheel wells do three things for the Icarus:
- Increase wheel clearance, allowing for larger wheels
- Stiffen the necks, creating more direct energy transfer to the trucks
- Create an ergonomic lock, letting you know where you are by feel and giving you strong leverage points to push against

Having trouble containing yourself after a hearty feast?
Can’t quite seem to raise the drawbridge all the way?
Is it time to tighten up the honey pot now that baby bear got outta there?
If you answered “yes” to any of these questions, it may be time to consider making Kegels a part of your personal workout regimen.
The Orangatang Kegel is your ticket to high-speed steamroller action and the obliteration of a variety of small mammals. The large 80mm diameter generates high roll speeds while a moderate width of 56 mm allows for a versatile balance of traction and slide response. A cantilevered outer lip with a straight profile is pliable enough to hug the road for grip while also ensuring consistent performance as the wheel wears. The shorter inner lip features a subtle inward bevel for race-worthy traction and predictable drifts. A fully-exposed 46mm core with a deep “valley”-shaped cross section reduces weight while providing good acceleration, lots of momentum, and crisp slides.
The Kegel is poured in our proprietary Happy Thane formula for high roll speed, excellent traction, and smooth, predictable drifts.
Are you ready to stop dreaming and start living a success story?

The new Loaded Jehunion Bearings (version 2 of our original Jehu bearings) feature extended inner raceways to eliminate the need for separate spacers and speed rings. Snug up your axle nuts until there's no excess play and your wheels still spin easily.
Most importantly, they are now pink.

And Jehu rode (his chariot) and went to Jezrael, because Joram lay there. And Achazyah the King of Judah came down to see Joram. And the watchman stood on the tower in Jezrael and saw Jehu's band as they came and he said, "I see a group." And Joram said, "send a (horse) rider out to meet them and ask (if they come in) peace?" And the horse rider went out to meet them and said, "the king asks (if you come in) peace?" And Jehu said, "What is peace to you? Turn away." And the watchman reported that the messenger reached them but did not return. So they sent a second horse rider. He came to them and said, "the King asks (if you come in) peace?" And Jehu said, "What is peace to you? Turn away." And the watchman said, "he came to them and did not return. And the riding style is like that of Jehu the son of Nimshi -- for he has a furious riding style." And Joram said "get ready."
