Instead of being a combination of components & sub-assemblies, EXAR carbon fibre wheelsets are quality and high performing products featuring an integral design of appearance, weight & performance.
GR45 Pro applies HI-MOD carbon fibre rims, ensuring rim, spokes & hub remain stiff. We optimise materials and structure to keep them as light as possible. This light design effectively reduces driving weight and improves sprinting performance.

Compared with lower profile wheels, the 45mm rim depth reduces frontal wind resistance, delivering significant aero gains whilst at the same time achieving a perfect balance of torsional & lateral stiffness, ensuring uncompromising power transfer under high torque efforts.
32mm wide rim = ultimate comfort:
Engineered for gravel bikes, the 32mm external / 25mm internal rim width delivers superior aerodynamics in turbulent crosswinds while enhancing stability.
When paired with 35c & above tyres, the wider rim profile provides enhanced tyre support, reducing deformation to improve cornering grip & steering precision. Meanwhile, it enables lower tyre pressure, significantly boosting comfort on rough terrain by absorbing vibrations more effectively. This optimisation achieves the perfect balance between tyre stability, handling control, ride comfort & aerodynamic efficiency.
Flat engagement ratchet:
GR45 Pro features a 36t flat ratchet system which has greater engagement force and a larger surface. This design enhances the durability of the ratchet, ensuring fast and precise engagement with improved stability. The rotating sound is smoother & more consistent with the use of the flat spring. Additionally the ratchet system allows for easy replacement with other ratchets of varying tooth counts, offering increased versatility.
Elaborate hub design engineered for gravel:
Front:
24H, 1:1 lacing pattern with crossed spokes on both sides for enhanced durability & stability during braking & power distribution. The wide flange spacing improves spoke bracing angles & tension distribution. Maximising lateral stiffness & support.
Rear:
24H, 2:1 lacing configuration to reinforce drive-side efficiency while maintaining critical lateral rigidity.
More powerful design:
1. Compatible with both tubeless & clincher tyres. With no spoke holes, the rim is tubeless ready, with no need for rim tape.
2. GR45 Pro features Pillar Wing 20 steel spokes. Compared with carbon spokes, steel spokes have superior vibration absorption, impact resistance & durability whilst on rugged terrain.
3. GR45 Pro Wheelset is UCI approved, meeting the strict performance & safety standards of professional racing. Lab tested reliability that thrives in real world gravel chaos.

We do not ship surfboards or stand-up paddleboards to Australia. We also cannot deliver to post shops or PO Boxes — a residential or business street address is required.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.

You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
