What is the Tectonic Pin System?
Stainless steel patented Tetctonic traction pins offer incredible grip, durability and ease of maintenance. The Tectonic pin system reduced our pin count from 22 to 12 pins per pedal. The pins run vertically through the pedal body and are easily replaced with outboard 2.5mm set screws. Replacing all pins is much faster than traditional systems, and if a pin is severly thrashed during a moment of shred, its still easily replaceable. Tectonic traction pins are patiented by Tectonic Components of Colorado, USA.
Can I use the Gen 2 Loam Pedals for DH riding or on my e-bike?
Yes, and we encourage it. The Gen 2 loam pedals are EFBE Cateogry 5 certified, meaning they are good to go for the most aggressice riding including e-bikes and DH riding.
Do the pedals come with extra pins?
Yes, in the package you'll find a small parts envelope wiht 2 x Tectonic pins and 2 x set screws plus 2 x pedal washers.

Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
