possible.
Bearings for any application!
Ceramic bearings are known to improve performance in all areas of a
bike. These bearings are for any application you see fit! From
Freehubs to Wheels, Pivots Axles - there is no application a Kogel
ceramic upgrade isn't recommended.Wheel bearings are among the
fastest rotating parts on a bicycle. They are also under constant
load and there are usually six of them, which means twelve seals.
For all these reasons it is worth upgrading from the stock bearings
that came in your wheel set.
The Kogel Bearing Advantage
Kogel ceramic bearing balls are smoother and rounder than any steel
bearing because of their material properties. Silicon Nitride can
be polished much smoother than steel. Also, it does not compress as
much as steel, leaving the contact points with the bearing races
very small and not squashed like a tennis ball under load.
Compressing any material under load and trying to roll it will
cause unnecessary drag. When we talk about wheel bearings - 2
bearings in the front, 2 in the rear and 2 in the freehub, it is
worth considering what you want from your seals. The Kogel Bearings
road seals are built to create the lowest friction we can get out
of a sealed bearing. The cross seals are built to have the best
protection against the elements. We always encourage Cross seals
for longevity however you can pick whichever best suits your riding
style and you get the same Kogel warranty.
Choosing the right bearings
Now that you know why a ceramic wheel bearing upgrade is important,
we get to the hard part: which bearings are in your wheels? We
recommend consulting with your local bike shop to strip your hub
prior to ordering these parts. Alternatively for Corima and 3T Hub
upgrades - you can consult with us to help you further.

Rural Delivery Information
Delivery times for rural areas can vary depending on how often couriers service your location. Some rural deliveries may only be serviced once a week, so we recommend checking with your local rural courier if timing is important.
Order Changes
Once an order has been placed, we cannot process cancellations or edits.
Shipping Days
Orders are not shipped on weekends or public holidays.

We currently offer standard shipping only for Australia. All Australian orders are first received at our Auckland HQ, where they are collated and processed for export before dispatch.
$25 shipping plus a 2% import fee. The fee may vary depending on the item.
Estimated delivery time is 4–6 business days from dispatch.
Orders do not ship same-day. Processing and export prep can take up to 3 business days.
There are currently no express shipping options available for Australia.
We do not ship surfboards or stand-up paddleboards to Australia. We also cannot deliver to post shops or PO Boxes — a residential or business street address is required.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Tracking, Customs & Returns
Tracking Your Order
You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
