Apex is the group that knows how to have a good time. Wide-range 1x12 gearing for gravel, bikepacking, adventure, casual cruises, and everything in between. With wireless AXS or classic DoubleTap mechanical shifting, XPLR or Eagle gearing, Apex connects you to your bike with smooth and reliable shifting, chain retention, and controlled and powerful hydraulic braking. Apex is simple to understand and easy to use, keeping the focus on what matters most – finding the fun.
Flattop technology is so much more than a distinctive look. It allows our 12-speed chain to be lighter, stronger and more durable than anything that came before. The Apex chain uses the same construction as the Rival and Force chains, with a polished grey finish.

Powerlock
- SRAM chain engineers developed PowerLock as a tool free, sure, and consistent way to connect our chains. While PL does not require special tools for install, the especially tight tolerances of 10- and 11-speed drivetrains mandate that each PowerLock is good for a one-time application only.
Flattop
- To enable X-Range gearing technology, we developed a narrower chain. The unique link shape of Flattop technology not only allowed for a wider gear range, but also results in quieter drivetrain operation and increased chain strength and durability.

Delivery times for rural areas can vary depending on how often couriers service your location. Some rural deliveries may only be serviced once a week, so we recommend checking with your local rural courier if timing is important.

Once an order has been placed, we cannot process cancellations or edits.

$25 shipping plus a 2% import fee. The fee may vary depending on the item.
Estimated delivery time is 4–6 business days from dispatch.
Orders do not ship same-day. Processing and export prep can take up to 3 business days.
There are currently no express shipping options available for Australia.
We do not ship surfboards or stand-up paddleboards to Australia. We also cannot deliver to post shops or PO Boxes — a residential or business street address is required.

How Australian Orders Work
Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Tracking, Customs & Returns
Tracking Your Order
You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
