It's a grip. OK, it's a bicycle grip. We can't and won't say it the best bicycle grip, because bicycle grips are a particularly personal thing. Be it damping, thickness, length, texture, shape, ... There are simply too many boxes to tick to make a grip your favourite, there simply can't be THE ONE, can there? Well, we did try to make a grip with a lot of features that we hoped would take away with some of the things we particularly did not like with some of the grips out there.
HONEYCOMB DESIGN
On some of your favourite grips, you may notice that, in a matter of a few rides, you can see small parts of the rubber already get twisted/torn or sheared off. Some grips provide excellent damping but the rubber may be too soft/squishy/sticky to be withstanding rough use over a longer period if time. For our Grippy we settled for a surface structure which reminds of a honeycomb and combined it with a material that provides very good feel and grip, yet it is stiff and sturdy enough, you can not twist the rubber, which helps keep wear as little as possible.
INNER SLEEVE CUTOUTS
For even more damping on the outside palm area, we designed cut-outs into the inner Nylon support sleeve, creating space for more rubber material all the way to the handlebar for more more damping and support of the critical outside palm area.
ECCENTRIC/OFFSET DESIGN
The Grippy, while featuring a circular diameter is offset from the middle axis. Thinner grips usually allow for a firmer/better mechanical grip, thicker grips can give more damping and comfort. With the offset design, we created more damping where you need it - on the rearward facing side (palm side) of the grip towards rider side - without increasing the overall diameter of the grip.
INTEGRATED ENDCAP
One thing we found particularly annoying is, the that outer ends of some grips tear too easily due to lack of or only little protection from improperly designed endcaps. Scraping a tree, going down, these things happen and we do not want the grip to get torn too easily, right? So the black, integrated endcap mainly has two functions: a) the slightly tapered shape gives you excellent tactile feedback to feel where the grip ends and b) it gives a solid protection against impacts.

Products showing "In Stock – Ships from Hyper Warehouse" are stocked at our Auckland warehouse and are normally dispatched within 1 business day, unless a different timeframe is shown on the product listing, at checkout, or in your order confirmation.
Supplier / Logistics Warehouse
Products showing "Ships Direct from Supplier", "Ships from logistics warehouse" or similar wording are dispatched directly from one of our suppliers. These items are normally dispatched within 1 working day unless a different processing timeframe is displayed.
Specific Dispatch Timeframes
Some products require extra processing time. For example, "Logistics Warehouse – Allow approx. 2 working days before dispatch" or "Aus Stock – Dispatch in approx. 7–10 working days". Where a specific timeframe is displayed against an item, that timeframe applies.
Dispatch Time vs Delivery Time
Dispatch time is the time required for your item to leave the Hyper Ride warehouse or supplier warehouse. Courier delivery time begins after the item has been dispatched.
The dispatch timeframe shown against the individual product on the product page, at checkout, or in your order confirmation takes priority over the general timeframes on this page.
If your order contains products from more than one dispatch location, your items may be sent separately and arrive at different times. Each parcel may also have a different courier and tracking number.

Rural Delivery
Rural deliveries can take an additional 1–3 working days. Exact delivery times can vary depending on the local rural courier route and service frequency.
Signature Required
Orders are sent signature required by default. If you provide permission to leave in your shipping notes, the courier may leave the parcel without a signature where their service allows.
PO Box Delivery

Shipping Days

Tracking
For orders shipped from our Auckland warehouse, NZ Post tracking is automatically emailed once the courier collects and scans your parcel. Supplier-direct tracking is not always supplied automatically, so please contact us if your expected dispatch timeframe has passed and you have not received tracking.

Hyper Ride Warehouse Tracking
Hyper Ride warehouse orders are shipped using NZ Post. Tracking is automatically forwarded to you once NZ Post collects and scans the parcel. Tracking may not show movement until the first courier scan has taken place.
Supplier Tracking
Supplier-direct orders use the supplier's nominated courier. Tracking details are not always automatically forwarded to us or to the customer. If the dispatch timeframe shown against your product has passed, email us and we can request the tracking for you.
Orders From Multiple Locations
If your order contains products from the Hyper Ride warehouse and one or more supplier warehouses, the items may be dispatched separately and arrive on different days.
Different Couriers
Split orders may use different courier companies and have separate tracking numbers. Please check the dispatch information shown against each item in your order confirmation.

Order Processing
Orders do not ship same-day. All Australian orders first arrive at our Auckland HQ warehouse, where they are collated and processed for export. This can take up to 3 business days before dispatch.
Multiple Items
If your order contains multiple items, we’ll collate them at our Auckland HQ and ship them together so your order arrives in full.
Remote Areas
Delivery to rural or remote parts of Australia, including WA, NT, and Far North QLD, may take longer than the standard 4–6 business day estimate.
Dispatch Schedule
Orders are dispatched Monday to Friday, 8:00am–5:00pm NZ time. Our daily processing cut-off is 3:00pm NZ time. Orders placed after this, on weekends, or on public holidays will be processed the next business day.
Tracking, Customs & Returns
Tracking Your Order
You’ll automatically receive a Team Global Express tracking link once your parcel leaves Auckland and is scanned into the carrier network.
Customs & Duty Charges
International orders may be subject to customs or import duties once they reach Australia. These charges are the responsibility of the recipient. Hyper Ride cannot control, predict, or waive these fees, and we cannot mark orders as gifts.
