Most tactical grade lights have a loud clicking sound when it's turned on or off, and that gives away your location when you're trying to be discreet. And they're usually quite long and hard to stay discreet with plain clothes.
The P18 has a unique camera shutter-style switch that's completely silent for noise-sensitive ops. Plus the pocket clip hides the light deep in your pockets without drawing attention to yourself.
If you ever wanted to use it discreetly, here's how the button works, half-press the button to turn it on at a lower brightness, then full press when need to get the full 1800 lumen brightness. Release the button and it turns off. Another switch controls the red light for stealth, and the white light can be used together with the red light if needed.
Overly bright or noisy flashlights are your worst enemy when it comes to stealth ops, where being discovered can lead to deadly consequences.
